Who can make the nomination for an adult member to receive this award? | Any Adult Member of a State Girl Guide Organisation or an individual member of Girl Guides Australia. |
Who can approve this nomination? | The relevant Manager, Chairperson, or Commissioner of the nominee who has the most relevant and recent knowledge and awareness of their skill and capacity and service given |
Who assesses the nomination? | State Awards Committees National Awards Committee |
Who approves the award | Due to the significance of this award, formal approval after the assessment by Awards Committees is sought from the State or National Board as per their Governance Arrangements. For National Emu Awards, approval will be through the GGA HR Committee with endorsement from the Board of GGA. |
